Almahue Forest
Almahue Forest Project is born of one man’s desire to combat climate change and bio-diversity loss.
Axel de Meeûs, Belgian, passionate about Patagonia since 1987, bought a plot of land in Patagonia with a goal : be actively part of this worldwide challenge of restoring nature combating climate change.
Achieving this goal means implementing a 5 axis-strategy

To carry out our strategy, we have entered in Q2 2023 into a cooperation agreement with the Argentinian Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA), which will support us by providing quality information for better decision-making.
In October 2024, we entered another agreement with GMF Nature based solution in order to create the PDD and the credit carbon certification.
